Dinner/Drive for May 21, 2005

We have the plan set in place for Saturday, May 21st. We'll be meeting in Fountain Hills at 1:45 PM and the destination is Pinetop/Lakeside to the Christmas Tree restaurant for dinner. The starting point is the Target Store parking lot, east end. Target is located near the corner of Shea and Saguaro Blvds. We'll be making the usual comfort stops, the first at the Casino in Payson. We'll travel the usual route of Hwy 87 to Payson and then 260 to Pinetop/Lakeside. We'll regulate our pace to arrive at the restaurant at 5 PM sharp, refueling the cars for the return trip before we have dinner. Some may elect to return through Salt River Canyon and the rest by way of Payson, depends where in the Valley you live........your choice.

The owner of the restaurant wants to service us before her regular customers arrive, otherwise there is a problem with meal prep and serving. We need an exact head count as well, so please send me your RSVP right away. If you have never dined at the Christmas Tree, you will be pleasantly surprised at the experience and the drive should be perfect with the top down.
