07/12/2014 - Red Onion Restaurant in Heber for Lunch
REVISED
OK, We're going to the Red Onion restaurant in Heber for lunch. We'll meet at the Target shopping center in Fountain Hills at 10:15 AM and depart at 10:30 AM. We will meet toward the west end of the complex at the Starbucks. The center is located at the intersection of Shea Blvd and Saguaro Blvd in Fountain Hills
We'll take hwy 87 north to Payson where we will stop for a 15 minute comfort break at the gas station near the casino. Continue north about a mile to hwy 260 and turn right. Heber is about 40 miles east on 260 and hwy 260 actually runs north and south in the Heber area, so the restaurant according to Google maps is on the left or west of hwy 260. I'm pretty sure you can see the restaurant from the highway. see map at this link http://goo.gl/maps/wduQQ
Please have a full fuel tank at the start and bring your club FRS radio.
