By now, you all know the annual Club Christmas
party is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th, 2019
DESTINATION IS Rancho de los Caballeros Resort
in Wickenburg.
We will meet at the Albertson's center
located about 1/2 mile east of I-17 on the north side of Carefree
highway and we'll gather on the east side of McDonalds parking area.
There are restroom facilities ailable in Albertson's along with coffee
and other beverages.
Please have your name tag, a full fuel
tank, your club radio, and this route guide.
We will depart the starting point and
travel west on Carefree Highway about 20 miles to Hwy 60 and turn north
to Wickenburg. Continue on HI, 60 through Wickenburg and follow it west
about 2.5 miles until you see Vulture Mine Rd and turn left (south) In
about 1 mile or less, you will see the entrance to the resort. There are
signs to take you to the main dining room and parking lot. Or, t-ou can
enter the address in your GPS. This is the official address: 1551 south
Vulture Mine Road, Wickenburg, 85390, or, follow the Z car ahead of you.
The distance from the starting point is roughly 55 miles, just enough to
get a little bit of a drive along with the beautiful ambiance of the
resort and the wonderful food.

We have reserved the entire main dining
room, privately, for our club and we usually arrive a bit early to
select our seating, have an adult beverage and socialize until the
buffet opens at noon.
The fee for the fantastic buffet is $25
CASH, per person, including gratuity and tax and it is probably worth
$50 based upon our experience there in past years. The resort requires a
single pot for the entire group so I will be placing the charges on my
personal credit card. We will collect cash
from each member when von arrive. Please have the correct
cash handy to make this task easier for us.
This is definitely an "upper level," five
star resort and they have a dress code; shirts must have a collar and it
would be best if you leave the shorts at home and wear casual long
trousers like Dockers or blue jeans.
The buffet opens at 12 noon and closes at
2:00 PM. When you finish your main meal, you will want to dig into some
of the extraordinary desserts they have.
