Our
next club tour will be on July 27th
First
of all, we wish to thank all 29 souls that showed up for the Dillon's
group dinner on July 4th.. this was our 9th annual event, missed Covid
year. As usual, the socializing was great, so nice to have visiting time
with fellow members. We had the entire menu to choose from and billing
by couples - what could be better?
Upcoming stuff:
-
The next club tour is on Saturday July 27th. Our last tour event was
Thursday, June 20th and of course our July 4th social dinner. We
didn't want to wait until
sometime in August to schedule a drive so July 27 it is
😊
We had the opportunity to welcome our new members, Eric St. Pierre &
Sharon Adamus, welcome aboard
😊.
Something different for a change ~~~~~it will be an evening
dinner event at Charlie Clarks Steakhouse in Pinetop/Lakeside; we
were last there for dinner
in October 2022.
MORE:
-
There will be a driving event in August but the date and destination
have not yet been decided. We are just starting to plan a 4-day
touring event in mid to Late September to Silver City New Mexico.
Other destinations will be included in that drive including the
Coronado Trail from Morenci AZ to Alpine AZ and that beautiful drive
on Hwy 181 from Alpine to Silver City, 95% of it in New Mexico.
-
Sometime in October, our Member Karen Dorian has invited us to her
home in Anthem for a small dinner, drinks and socializing. No
details yet but they will be sent out well ahead of time and we'll
manage to sneak in a touring event during October also.
-
That leaves November unaddressed but of course, we will have a
November tour so it does not interfere with the Thanksgiving Day
festivities.
-
December is already committed for our annual Christmas party on
Saturday the 14th. We don’t normally tour in December because it is
such a busy time of the year for everyone. However, time & weather
permitting, we MAY decide on a small group for a weekday lunch drive
somewhere. Everyone will get the notice well ahead of time.
SO,
that gives you a good idea of what's coming up and hopefully we will
have a good turnout for these events. Needless to say, you'll be
receiving details on all this stuff well before the event date.
Cheers; Paul Ebeyer, President, Mike Hunt, VP, Jim Warren, Treasurer
