CLUB CHRISTMAS PARTY SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 2024
The location for the Christmas party is the
Pebble Creek Resort in Goodyear AZ. The facility we will be at there is
the Pebble Creek Country Club.
The address is: 16222 Clubhouse
Drive Goodyear AZ 85395. Make life easy for yourself and plug this
address into your Garmin or cell phone GPS.

The event begins at
3:30 PM
With socializing
and an adult beverage if you wish. We will sit for dinner a bit later.
Probably best to avoid lunch because the dinner will be in midafternoon.
Feel free to arrive a tad early if you wish to look around this
beautiful resort. The meal we selected from several choices is the
Dinner Buffet which includes
the following items:

Garden salad,

Entrees
Chicken Carbonara & Beef Medallions. We get both selections, not
just one

side # 1, Cheesy
Au Gratin potatoes.

side # 2, Sauteed
Green Beans with bacon and onions.
Chicken Carbonara is
somewhat like chicken Alfredo in pasta so of that is your selection you
probably will not want the Au Gratin potatoes as well. I believe that a
strawberry cheesecake is included for dessert. Non-alcohol beverages are
included. The club is paying a fee for the bartender;, buy whatever
adult beverages you wish at your own expense.

Dinner
expense breakdown; Each meal is $62.50 per person which includes 20%
gratuity and 10.21% tax. The club will be picking up $17.50 of that
total per meal so the member cost is a net $45.00. per person.
In addition to the $250 for the room and the $100 for the bartender the
club total expense is estimated at $1,100. This is paid for with the
money from your annual dues. The club must pay the total bill in a
single payment on Dec 14th so this means we need to collect
the $45.00 per person from
you ahead of
time. We
must provide the resort the final head count no later than November 23rd,
3 weeks in advance.
Therefore, the club needs
your RSVP and your $45.00 meal remittance no later than that date.
The sooner you tend to these two items the easier it is for our club

There has been a
TON of work devoted to this event beginning months ago and yet, more to
be accomplished. Your prompt remittance and
RSVP will make it much easier for
the club officers and volunteers to finalize the remaining details.

You are
not required to drive your Z to the event. Drive your daily driver if
you wish. We have 57 members in the club and we hope to have at least 40
in attendance at the Christmas party, the more the merrier.
We hope you can attend this event;
this advance notice will help you set that day aside.
Our club is repeating a charitable donation we have done in the past at
one of our Christmas parties. The U.S. Marines have a Christmas program
Toys for Tots. We ask each member to bring one toy, or 2 toys for
couples and one for single members. One toy for a girl and one for a
boy. Bring more if you wish.
The toys need to be brand new and unwrapped. We will collect them from
you at the Christmas party and our club VP, Mike Hunt will deliver them
to the Marine depot where they store these toys until they are
distributed to the children. We will need assistance from the members
getting the toys from the dining room to Mike’s SUV. We may also need
another vehicle to transport the toys if they do not fit in one vehicle
- they did not last time
